It has been a summer of change in our own family of parishes
Fr Cian has finished his time with us and begun a sabbatical year in which we wish him well. Fr Prasad and Fr Tijo, members of the Indian Province of the Sacred Heart Missionaries, have joined us and enjoyed a very warm welcome right across our communities. Whilst they will be living in St Mary’s on the Hill, they will serve across the four Churches of our family of parishes, and we hope that they find great happiness and fulfilment in their ministry with and amongst us.
We are delighted that Fr Aidan Vaughan returned to Gurranabraher after a period of convalescence, and we wish him continued health.
A Summer of ChangeSadly, Fr Tomás continues to struggle with chronic back pain which limits aspects of his ministry, especially the celebration of public Masses and the Sacraments, Tomás continues to be actively involved in overseeing the administration and organisation of Gurranabraher parish. We ask all our parishioners to keep him in our prayers as he continues various therapies.
